Overall I really enjoyed my week one placement:

Yesterday in the morning I visited the X-Ray department where I took and developed X-Rays with the team. They have plates which are scanned into a computer and then erased by a machine. When I arrived at the hospital I was given a tour and timetable. I was allocated to the Minor Injuries Department and throughout the day oversaw various injuries. Some quite gory.
